Military author in various infantry regiments of the army, participated in the first Russian-Turkish war (the siege and capture of Bender in 1770), fighting in the Crimea (the taking of Perekop in 1771), the actions of Russian troops in the North Caucasus against Kabardians (1779 -1780).
