Annals of the UIA (Litopys UPA)

The publishing house "Litopys UPA" was founded in 1973 by the former UPA soldiers. This is a joint publication of the Association of Former UPA Soldiers of the USA and Canada and the Societies of Former UPA Soldiers named after general Taras Chuprinka in the USA and Canada. Since the founding of the publishing house in 2012 the 100 volumes in four series appear, in which documents and materials from the history of the OUN and UPA are published. Each volume or group of volumes of the Annals is devoted to separate topics. Volumes do not appear periodically, but depending on the preparation and processing of the following ones.

The first series – main – has 51 volumes.

Second, New series (started in 1995) has 18 volumes. It is published not only by the Annals of the UPA, but also by the Institute of Ukrainian Archeography named after M. S. Hrushevsky of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the State Committee of Archives of Ukraine and the Branch State Archive of the Ukrainian security service.

The third series "Library” (founded in 2000) publishes research and memoirs. 11 volumes have been published in the series, several more are being prepared for publication.

To popularize the liberation struggle, the fourth series was launched "Events and people”, which has published 17 books and plans to publish other studies.

In addition to the paper version, all volumes are available on discs in the form of e-books.

In addition, the publishing house "Litopis UPA" was a co-publisher of the 1st volume of "Insurgent Graves" together with the Ukrainian Archive (Warsaw, Poland) and the illustrated edition of "Letters of the UPA" together with the publishing house "Duliby" (Kyiv, Ukraine).

Additionally, every year since 2004, the Annals of the UPA publishes illustrated wall calendars dedicated to the UPA and the armed underground of the OUN, and in 2009, on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Stepan Bandera, another special anniversary edition was published.
